The zip is placed around the hips and not near the shoulders, so we allow as free a movement as possible in the shoulder area. As the jacket is made for paddlers who are likely to be more exposed to the water, the neoprene collar and cuffs on the arms and legs ensure that it is 100% waterproof.In addition, we have added a hood strap below the collar to which you can attach your sup hood. The hood can be purchased separately.
