The 5'8" is 'everybodys darling'... Light riders pop onto the foil in a breeze of 8 knots (2-3 bft). Heavier riders have fun from 12 knots (3-4 bft). Thanks to the direct board feeling and the FCS straps, advanced riders have the opportunity to do all their tricks and jumps. Like the rest of the shaka air boards, the 5'8" also pops out of the water very early onto the foil thanks to the silicone rail on the tail and the slightly concave bottom shape. And it has a stiff, rigid feel thanks to the 20 psi double layer dropstich hull and the 70cm long 3K carbon foil box. The board can be used without footstraps as the footstrap plugs are located under the deckpad. And with footstraps it does all turns, tricks and jumps. The shaka air can be packed in a small rucksack with space for foil and wing(s). Thanks to the high-quality workmanship, you can also leave it inflated for the whole season.
