Foil Wakeboard
Buying Guide
Link to the blog: Which wakefoil set should I buy?
Foil wakeboards open up a whole new dimension of riding on the water. Instead of gliding directly on the water’s surface, you lift off with a hydrofoil and ‘fly’ gently over the water – whether behind a boat or in small waves. Foil wakeboards are specially reinforced and feature a mounting plate for the hydrofoil. Riding them requires a bit of practice and finesse, but rewards you with an almost weightless riding experience. The foil really comes into its own at lower speeds or in small waves. At Surfdeal, you’ll find high-quality foil wakeboards to take your riding to the next level on the water.

Indiana 4'3 Pump, Surf & Wing 'Le Doigt' Carbon
If Indiana Ambassador Steeve Fleury can only take one foil board on a trip, he packs his new 4'3' Pump, Surf & Wing Carbon. A real all-in-one board. The compact and lightweight board can be used for dock launching, pump foiling, surf foiling and wing foiling. The 4'3' has rails and bevels that are round at the top and sharp at the bottom for tight turns, low traction on water contact and optimised re-start capabilities. The tail is completely flat towards the back. This results in very good acceleration and releases easily from the water surface when pumping. The larger volume of 33 litres makes it easier to paddle waves and also to start wing foiling. Strapless wing foiling is admittedly only an issue for absolute pros, the board has no strap plugs. Features: Adjustable Track System: Allows you to adjust the foil setup to your body weight and riding style. It is compatible with all foil systems with a 90mm gap. The track system is structurally integrated between the upper and lower laminate, making it extremely solid. Grooved EVA deck pad: Provides unique lateral grip, but also allows the feet to move on the deck.

Indiana Wing Foil G-Pro 63 L Carbon
The 63L has a completely different shape to its bigger brother. Gunnar has given his all to develop his ultimate performance board. The idea was to combine the advantages of a short 4'4" board with a 63L to make it easy to take off on. To achieve this, the 63 L is very thick in the centre, while the volume at the rails is kept low with the help of the progressive "Concave Rail". The concave rails also keep the bottom of the tail very thin so that you can carve the board as tight as possible without the tail touching the water. The "teardrop" outline maximises the volume under the front foot, making it easier not only to kneel during water starts when waggling, but also to paddle and pop up on the waves when surf foiling. Surf foiling? You read that right, this board was also designed as a surf foil board. The compact shape makes the board ideal for surf foiling or pumping.Like its bigger brother, the 63 L has a smaller low-drag handle and no nose handle to keep the weight as low as possible.

Indiana Wave Foil 4'10 Carbon
New for 2024 is the new Wavefoil board, the most modern design to emerge from the brain of Gunnar "Chinatown" Biniasch. The WaveFoil series is aimed at riders looking for a board that shines in the waves with or without a wing. It is designed for prone paddling and for riding with a wing and has an amazing low end. Thanks to the T-tail shape, it won't get stuck on the wave face in hard turns. The 4'10' is perfect for surf foil beginners and advanced wingfoilers. All Indiana WaveFoil boards come complete with bag, foot straps and screws. Features: Gunnar has spent a lot of time testing and refining the new concepts on this board to make sure everything works harmoniously New board features 2024: Release Rocker 2.0: The tail rocker has been increased to maximise acceleration and allow the board to release from the water without resistance. Deep Concave Deck: The deep ergonomic concave in the deck gives maximum control as it provides good grip for the front foot without being uncomfortable. The concave is deepest under the front foot and becomes shallower towards the tail of the board. To prevent the water from collecting at the feet, the concave extends to the back of the board, forming a channel through which the water can escape. Concave Rails: The new concept of concave rails makes it possible to have two boards in one. Instead of a straight, bevelled rail, the concave rails allow the board to sit slightly lower on the water when displacing, which provides increased roll stability. But when the board is pumped, the upper board surface is effectively removed from the water and only the reduced hull slides, making it much easier to release the board from the water. Round bottom hull: The hull is rounded at the front. This helps the board to accelerate in displacement mode so that it generates a higher speed before you start pumping. The round hull also puts less strain on the knees when landing jumps or chop riding. HSH (Hard-Soft-Hard) Rail Progression: The lower rail is sharp near the tail, but has a softer section under the front foot, which becomes sharp again at the nose. This makes the water entry at the rail profile more efficient and the water is channelled under the board.

Indiana Wing Foil 55 L Carbon +
The Indiana Wingfoil boards were designed by Gunnar Biniasch in Fuerteventura and have been specifically developed to take your wing skills to the next level. Every aspect of these boards has been developed to maximise downwind reach while keeping the shape compact. This ensures maximum surfing and freeriding fun. The full carbon sandwich construction offers a perfect balance between durability and lightness. The forward-biased volume distribution and the maximised flat surface make it easier to stand up even in the most difficult conditions. Indiana Foil Flow FW 65 L Carbon
The Flow FW boards were developed for riders who expect maximum control, precision and performance from their wingfoil board. The Flow Freewave shape relies on an extremely direct connection between board and foil, a secure stance and predictable handling to remain confident even in demanding conditions. The Flow FW 65 Carbon is the smallest and most compact size in the Flow Freewave range. It is aimed at lighter or very experienced riders who are looking for a highly reactive board for wave and freestyle orientated wingfoiling. This size offers an extremely immediate ride and is ideal for technical manoeuvres and performance-heavy sessions. The Flow FW 65 Carbon is 4'8 1/8 long, has a volume of 65 litres, a width of 22', a thickness of 4 3/8' and a weight of 5.2 kg. The recommended rider weight is between 50 and 85 kg. The revised drop-deck geometry positions the front foot slightly higher than the rear foot. This creates an extremely direct foil feel and very efficient power transmission when pumping, in turns and when loading the foil for jumps. The deck has a pronounced concave at the front, which tapers harmoniously towards the tail and holds the rider securely in position without restricting freedom of movement. The tear-drop outline concentrates width and volume specifically under the forefoot, where control and stability are crucial at higher displacement speeds. At the same time, the very narrow tail area ensures immediate release and tight carves without the board getting stuck in the water. Straight rails that merge into a rounder nose reduce wind resistance and keep handling calm and controlled even in strong winds. The optimised volume distribution is clearly designed for performance and offers just enough volume in the tail to enable active back foot steering without compromising the release. This setup supports aggressive freestyle riding, technical wave manoeuvres and precise foil control. The hull is kept completely flat and clean and transitions into a slightly square pintail. This combination enables fast planing, clean release and a direct pop-up as soon as speed is built up. A subtle rocker facilitates smooth touchdown recoveries and ensures good controllable behaviour in demanding conditions. Key Features Ultra-compact freewave shape with extremely direct board-to-foil feel Drop-deck geometry with higher forefoot position for maximum control Pronounced front deck concave for a secure, locked-in stance Tear-drop outline with wide front area and very narrow tail Straight rails with a rounder nose to reduce wind resistance Performance-orientated volume distribution for active back foot steering Flat, clean hull with slightly angular pintail for instant release Carbon construction for maximum stiffness with low weight Heavy-duty leash plug for additional safety Discipline and level suitability Recommended for wingfoiling and parawing foiling in wave and freestyle conditions.
