Wave and freestyle Surfboard Windsurfing
Buying advice
wave- and freestyle-surfboards are designed for maximum manoeuvrability, fast manoeuvres and creative riding styles on the water. Waveboards are specially built for use in the surf, they are more compact, manoeuvrable and robust so that you can effortlessly perform turns on the wave or make spectacular jumps. Freestyle-Boards are optimised for tricks on flat water and are characterised by explosive acceleration, low weight and extreme manoeuvrability. In Switzerland, many windsurfers prefer to ride freewave boards, a mixture of wave and freeride shapes. Thanks to their slightly greater width, especially in the nose area, these boards plane faster and are versatile - perfect for changing conditions on lakes. As a rough rule of thumb when choosing the volume, the board volume should be roughly the same as your body weight in kilograms, and slightly more for relaxed riding. Both types require a certain level of riding ability, but offer unlimited possibilities for dynamic and creative windsurfing. At Surfdeal you will find a careful selection of wave, freestyle and freewave boards, perfectly adapted to different conditions, skill levels and individual riding styles - for maximum freedom and action on the water

The Nano is compact so that it fits tightly in the pocket of any wave and can carve powerfully. The combination of the parallel outline and the channelled underbody provides instant acceleration, grip and tight turning radii.

PYRO_ PHILIP KÖSTER PRO WAVEDesigned in collaboration with 5 x World Champion Philip Köster, the PYRO will ignite your fire. It's fast, it's powerful and versatile; sail it like Koster with twin fins for playful looseness. In a contest scenario the improved early planing and better upwind ability of the thruster fin setup is the go. And then when the waves turn on, plug in the quad fins for down-the-line grip and reliability.Whatever setup you choose, the PYRO will deliver explosive performance.Meticulous construction makes the Pyro one of the lightest, most high performance boards available. Every component and detail has been engineered for performance. Everything is premium. Philip does not accept second best. Aggressive aesthetics. PK performance. SV attention to detail.
PREDATOR_FOILSTYLEMAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. MAXIMUM STYLE.Initially designed to carve, jump, and rotate on the foil, the Predator proved much more versatile. More aggressive than the Alien, the Predator offers a playful ride; made to be ridden with both feet in the straps during moves, or with the back foot out on the rail when blasting.Redesigned for 025 upgrades include better in-flight stability initiated by a lower centre of balance and volume distribution. The new purpose-designed nose area is a defining factor in controlled flight and landings. The added stability also opens up new realms of expression such as wave riding. To maximise simplicity, the whole Predator range has been adjusted to feature just two sizes; 100l and 115l.Inserts are only inboard for the back foot - this forces the rider to keep their weight directly over the foil when jumping or loading up the foil, and massively reduces leverage and the chance of breakages. As a true windsurf board, a deep-tuttle box is used for reliability, consistency, and ease of use. Excess inserts and finboxes have been eliminated, increasing simplicity and reducing weight

PROJECT SCOTT _SCOTT MCKERCHER PRO WAVEDeveloped with Western Australian legend Scott McKercher, "Project Scott" is designed to charge waves.A classic wave board redefined with modern highlights, The Project Scott is best described in Scott's own words;"It's always been the goal to have a board with automatic response in initiating a rail and or reacting with the lip. From previous incarnations, small adjustments in rocker/deck volume and outline make large differences. It's always been about carving for me too. When you set a rail it's got to have a nice line to bury the nose and push the tail. The Project Scott will give you the feedback needed for various waves all across the world. It is, though, when bigger, hollow waves are pumping where this board truly will sparkle."SIZES 62 / 70 / 78 / 84 / 92 / 100 / 108 / 116
026 STONEJaeger style.A real wave board, with the flow and looseness to get creative and the reliability to be confident. Excelling in down-the-line conditions, the Stone is also fast enough to be used in onshore or average conditions.More curve in the back of the Stone enables it to fit deep in the pocket of the wave. The sleek outline is narrower and longer to handle speed. Combined with a rounded pintail and a reduced nose width, this board reacts to any rider input.Fast concave bottom shapes to jump like Jaeger. It's built in premium Carbon/S-glass construction, and can be setup as either a quad fin or a thruster. Jaeger uses both; quad for control when the waves get bigger, and thruster for when he wants added power. Having both options in a single board makes a lot more sense than having two nearly identical boards with different fin configurations. Saves cash and space in the board bag.The Stone board feels connected to the wave. It's fast, fluid and fun. It converts wave power into kinetic energy so you can then turn it into buckets of spray.Jaeger says:"I live in Geraldton, but am forever chasing forecasts at the premium down-the-line, pure wave spots in W.A. When I pack the Landcruiser, this is the board that's in the back. Slightly longer, with refined rails flowing into a rounded pintail. This board allows me to draw my turns out smoothly when wanted, yet our proven rockerline still enables the tight, vertical, and fast approach to wave sailing that we focus on."/ QUAD OR THRUSTER / PREMIUM CARBON / S-GLASS CONSTRUCTION / DEVELOPED WITH JAEGER STONESIZES: 60 / 68 / 74 / 80 / 84 / 88 / 94 / 102 / 112
With "ULTRA" responsive manoeuvres off the lip and smooth bottom turns, the innovative ULTRA concept offers the best performance in real wave conditions. Fast acceleration gets you into the lineup quickly, keeps you moving in critical areas and allows additional jumps on the way out. The ULTRA has a centred volume and thinner rails, which improves turns and control. The innovative, lowered deck is a design feature that Starboard introduced back in 1994.
The uncompromising HYPER: A radically configured quadfin board for powerful waves. Developed with Antoine Martin, winner of the Aloha Classic on Maui and known for his progressive riding style. Versatility is great, but some days it's about more. You want to go to the limit. You need that little bit extra. Fewer compromises, more extremes. Time for HYPER. With uncompromising sizes from 78 to 103 litres, the HYPER has an extremely radical design. The narrow outline and tail, including razor-sharp, thin rails at the rear, combine with a pronounced concave tail and fit perfectly with the powerful quad fin setup. The result: lightning-fast reactions and great adaptability to fast and powerful breaking waves. At the same time, it offers infinite propulsion, secure grip and control during high-speed bottom turns.
