CHARACTERISTICS
A versatile performance surfboard for small to medium waves, that is the mission of the new Mixer XR, which, like all other wave boards in the 2021 model range, is manufactured in the new XR construction. Our proven hybrid-EPS construction is refined by the XR-Construction in the 2021 season, resulting in an optimal mix of low weight and robust character. With additional reinforcements made of bamboo and carbon, we have significantly upgraded the board's construction compared to its predecessor.
The tri-quad set-up offers you the possibility to vary the character of the Mixer XR. The board can be ridden either as a thruster with maximum control in turns or as a quad with a looser behaviour and maximum acceleration. The distinctive winged-rounded pintail allows for a smooth ride in small waves and at the same time provides the necessary control when things get a bit more powerful. It is precisely this modern tailshape, combined with the quadruple concave in the underwater hull, that also gives the board its exceptional stability at low wind and in smaller waves, while the rounded outline and volume in the middle of the board always ensure that even poor wave sections can be mastered with ease.
