With the quad fin configuration and tail profile of the slingshot Mixer, you can slash to your heart's content as it favours a slashy back-foot feel rather than a locked-in carve. The aggressive concave quad profile on the bottom of the board channels the water and provides speed and an early plane, and it offers grip and a locked-in feel when entering turns at speed. Large carbon stringer patches on the top and bottom give the board strength where it's needed while keeping the overall weight down. Additional carbon on the tail prevents edge cracks in the event of heel impact.
