This switch detects the charging of two batteries (or battery banks) and ensures optimum control of the charging of the second battery bank.
This switch allows two normally isolated battery banks to be connected when a charging source (alternator or charger) is detected.
As soon as a charging source is active, the switch ensures that the main battery (starter battery) is charged first. As soon as this reaches a voltage of 13.2 volts, the circuit breaker opens and allows the second battery (consumer battery) to be charged. The switch also enables parallel connection in an emergency. The parallel connection
makes it possible to charge 2 batteries at the same time and to connect them in parallel in an emergency. The parallel connection can be switched on manually via the button or with the (on)/off switch on the dashboard.
