Combo water ski (link) from CHF 249.-
Best selling. You simply have a ski under each foot. The wider the ski, the easier it is to ride. Suitable for beginners and advanced riders. The bindings on combo skis can be adjusted to the foot size. Hybrid Combo water skis have a double binding on one ski so that they can also be used as mono/slalom skis.
Best Surfdeals: Stardupp Peak 170cm. Stardupp Volt 157cm. The water ski is shaped to provide extra buoyancy and easy launching. The wider tip ensures control and balance during the ride. With a slalom binding on a water ski, you don't need a separate slalom ski!

With the slalom ski you buy one piece with two bindings on it. Then your feet are behind each other on a water ski and that is more difficult than with a combo ski.

Concave, Bevel, Rocker, Fin
Concave
- The bottom can have a part cut-out so it's not flat. The deeper and more it is over the whole width of the waterski, the more aggressive the waterski turns around the bouys. Beginners will want a flat or moderate concave bottom.
Bevel
- The edge on teh side of the waterski can be sharp making it track great in a straight line for beginners, or more rounded. The more rounded the less tracking in straight lines but the easier it turns.
Rocker
- The way the nose of the waterski is bend. Less is easier to ride in a straighline, more is making it esier to turn.
Fins
- A comboski will be equipped with a fixed Fin. On more advanced Waterski's the fins can be tuned.
