Extremely early flight
- Free flight is designed to get you up on the profile as quickly as possible and allow you to use a small sail in relation to the wind speed.
Tight leech
- As the leech has to release less wind when foiling, the Free flight benefits from the extra power and stability that a tight leech provides. This also allows the use of a smaller sail.
Foil-specific foot shape
- Due to the more upright sailing position when foiling, the foot area of the Free flight is enlarged so that you can close the gap when foiling with an upright sailing position. This maximises performance and efficiency.
4 batten layout
- The 4-batten layout ensures a stable base and low weight.
1 or 2 mini cams
- Smaller sizes have 1 mini cam for an optimal balance between profile stability and weight. The 6.6 has 2 mini cams for extra stability in the lower part of the sail in the largest size.
Foil-specific use
- Developing this sail specifically for foiling allows us to offer maximum foil-specific benefits to capitalise on all the possible efficiency gains offered by sails that are not suitable for fin use.
