We love the saying: dynamite comes in small packages. The playful yet powerful Astra is a bold all-terrain addition to our new-school freeride quiver. Lighter riders often find it harder to control big, stiff boards designed for heavyweights. With this in mind, we set out to develop a board with a more responsive flex for lighter or smaller-built riders - one that offers more control in a range of conditions, more comfort and softer landings without sacrificing performance. The Astra's shorter board length, narrower stance and basalt technology construction offer riders of all levels just the right amount of flex for controlled edges, boosts and loops. Its consistent, reliable railgrip gives you extra confidence to push your limits as you charge for massive jumps. With its super-efficient bottom shape and rocker the board feels fast in the water and flies in the wind. The medium flex is tight enough to deliver clean and powerful pop, but soft enough to protect knees and legs on harder landings. Sending has never been so easy.
