The 5'6"board is the radical devil. The nose shape is more pointed for very tight turns. With approx. 120 litres you still have enough volume to get back to the shore if you catch up wind. Like the rest of the shaka air boards, the 5'6" also pops out of the water very early onto the foil thanks to the silicone rail on the tail and the slightly concave bottom shape. And it has a stiff, rigid feel thanks to the 20 psi double layer dropstich hull and the 70cm long 3K carbon foil box. The board can be ridden with or without footstraps as the plugs are located underneath the deck pad. The shaka air can be packed in a small rucksack with space for foil and wing(s). Thanks to the high-quality workmanship, you can also leave it inflated for the whole season.
