The 4'0 has the same characteristics as the smaller 3'7 with rails round top and sharp bottom for tight turns, low traction in water contact and optimised re-start capabilities. The larger volume of 30 litres makes it easier to paddle into waves and also to launch when foiling wing. Strapless wing foiling with it is admittedly only an issue for absolute pros, the board has no strap plugs.
