Still featuring a space-age hybrid coroyd and wood core, the new 2020 MISFIT rewrites the formula of the progressive freeride twin tip. This board is a slingshot cult favourite and is globally regarded as one of the best all-round twin tips in the world. Legions of die-hard fans and kiteboarders have ridden the MISFIT at least once in their lives. It is suitable for beginners, freestyle, upwind, downwind, flat water, choppy water and big air. It is our most versatile board, designed for use in all conditions and has enough technology and performance to live up to its reputation as one of the best all-round twin tips in kiteboarding. - Koroyd tips. Sections of thermally welded co-polymer tubes provide a lighter, more responsive ride with more strength and flex than a solid wood core.
- Continuous rocker. A smooth, consistent curve provides a fast ride, predictable pop, great carving performance and disperses water to soften landings.
- NACA Tech channels. NACA TECH is where aviation technology meets action sports. These precision laser-cut parabolic channels channel water like a vacuum from the centre of the board through the tail. This directed water accelerates through the channel and increases the board's speed and grip in the water. This gives the rider better speed and traction when riding the board.
- Atomic wood core. Sustainably grown paulownia gives the slingshot boards the lively, bouncy character for which they are famous. The vertically laminated construction utilises the collective strength of the wood grain to provide strength, durability and consistent flex over the life of the board.
- Carbon-Base rock inserts.
Our lightweight, flexible and super strong inserts are reinforced with carbon fibre before being inserted into the board. Reduces the overall weight of the board, increases traction and allows for a more even flex underfoot.
- Singleshot fusion sidewalls.
We have applied the same technology used in high hardness urethane skateboard wheels to the rails of all our boards. Our innovative manufacturing process literally moulds the rail into the board cores in a single shot, providing unrivalled cushioning and durability.
- Dura-Light base.
This 0.2 mm base material offers the ideal strength-to-weight ratio. Lightweight performance in a strong and durable package.
