On the RPX, the shape of the trailing edge has been completely redesigned. Redesigning the trailing edge has allowed us to eliminate areas of turbulence, drag and flutter. This means a better return to the top of the window when looping, a tighter turning circle when surfing and lightning fast reaction speed.
CleanByDesign
The RPX is packed with innovative technology that includes a new streamlined premium-FlyLine-Bridle system. This new system features a diameter of only 1.6 mm, a 25% reduction from the previous version. It is stronger, lighter and allows the kite to move through the air with less resistance. The RPX canopy has been designed to meet the needs of the modern kiteboarder. This new and advanced canopy profile features a reduction of 88 panels compared to its predecessor, the RPM. The result is a one-two punch of weight reduction and clean airflow.

NEW REDESIGNED TRAILING EDGE
- A completely redesigned edge has allowed us to eliminate areas of turbulence, drag and flutter. The result is even better kite response and better return to the top of the window on kiteloops and mega loops.
NEW CLEAN CANOPY
- We have reduced the fairing of the canopy from 108 individual panels to 20. This reduces the overall weight of the kite while providing a more aerodynamic canopy profile.
NEW STREAMLINED FLYLINE HORIZONTAL SYSTEM
- The FlyLine bridle is an invention we have been using on the RPM for the last two years. During the development of the RPX, we wanted to expand its capabilities even further. By using higher quality materials, we were able to reduce the thickness of the bridle line by 25%. Riders will immediately feel less drag from this new streamlined bridle.
NEW ONE pump SPEED SYSTEM
- The patented slingshot invention, now used throughout the industry, has received an upgrade. We've increased the diameters of our One pump tubes to provide cleaner airflow for easier inflation, and repositioned the tubes to be more streamlined and durable.
OPEN C CANOPY
- This flatter C-shaped arc offers great reach, depower and upwind performance while providing precise handling and dynamic response. This harmonious blend of performance and comfort allows you to progress and perform no matter who you are.
4 X 4 CAP TECHNOLOGY
- The RPX is constructed from Teijin 4x4 reinforced rip-stop material. This is the strongest, stiffest and most durable cap material on the market. Your kite will last longer, have a higher resale value and feel more solid and stable in the air, especially in gusty conditions wind.
SPLIT STRUT
- Split Strut is an invention from slingshot, which has been adopted by the industry. Split Strut integrates the kite canopy and struts into one solidly connected piece, rather than sewing the canopy over the struts as other designs do. Split Strut creates a stronger, more stable and durable canopy, improves performance under heavy load and creates efficiency and rigidity throughout the frame.
